Removing Backgrounds & Selecting Images

 Image 1

How do you take the white background?

1. Use the "Magic Wand" to remove the white   background at the back of the image.

2. Click on the white background you want to remove from the image. With one click of the "Magic Wand" all the white background should be selected.

3. Right-click and click on "Select Inverse".

4. Press Ctrl-J to copy the layer with the image without the white background.

I'm using the same methods to remove the white background from all the images.

Image 3 is kind of hard to edit because it has many images that need to be selected. And since I just want to use the bubbles, I have to remove all the text inside the bubbles.

To remove all the text in the bubble, I’m using the Patch Tool. Just select any empty background of the bubble which has the same color and put it on top of the text that you want to remove.

It's like cutting a paper with the same color and paste it on the top of the text in the bubble to cover the unwanted text.

I'm using the Eraser Tool to remove all the unwanted images, which are the text at the top and at the bottom of the poster.

The same 4 steps were used to remove the white background.

I’m using the “Refine Edge” by adjusting the "Feather" in order to get a clean cut of the image that I want to use for the e-Wallpaper.
